Every summer, since 1740, the family Opdøl have moved their animals to the summer farm in Innerdalen, in the western part of Trollheimen.

At Renndølsetra we welcome mountain hikers, families and groups who want accommodation, dining and a true mountain lodge experience.
We offer both rooms and tent sites, and emphasize personal hospitality and a cozy atmosphere during your stay.
In season we serve home-cooked food based on traditions from the farm life and which is perfect after a day out. We also accept orders from groups.
Renndølsetra is a family-owned business with long traditions, where we want to preserve history while creating good experiences for you as a guest.
The coffee shop is the breathing space
In the mountain farm café we serve drinks, mountain farm products, waffles and simple food. Perfect if you only have time for a day trip.
Accommodation
Sleep well in cozy rooms inside the setra, or pitch a tent or hammock at our campsite by the lake.
